Abstract/Notes

A growing body of research answers the question “why is your brain deteriorating faster”? In America, the long-anticipated Baby Boomer surge started in 2011 when the first of that generation turned 65. The estimated escalation of 71 million more to reach 65 by 2030 presents a range of concerns for health conditions including age associated brain degeneration (AABD). While there is a genetic risk component for AABD, the majority of risks concern the lifestyle choices made that are concerned with health. Vascular insufficiency, aging, depression and lifestyle choices are the main causes for AABD.
