Abstract/Notes

Abstract: The battle for a chiropractic bill for Illinois chiropractors was begun in 1923 and continues today. The profession is split into two factions: the Illinois Chiropractic Society and the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association. This is a review of their interactions and of corruption in the Illinois political machine during the 1950s, told by the chiropractors who were part of the battle.
