Title World Federation of Chiropractic: The first twenty years
Journal Chiropr Hist. 2009 Winter;29(2):39-44
Peer Review Yes
Publication Type Article
Abstract/Notes In recent years the explosive international growth of chiropractic brought an increasing awareness among practitioners that they needed a global organization designed to maintain a unified identity along with proper educational and legal standards. Chiropractors also needed a voice that could air their interests at the World Health Organization. Chapman-Smith recounts how these concerns developed into the creation and expansion of the World Federation of Chiropractic, currently representing chiropractors from ninety countries.
