Abstract/Notes Dr. David Radford diagnosed a vitamin D deficiency in his patient. An offsite lab handled the blood work and confirmed the diagnosis. The patient’s carrier, Anthem, covered the lab services, but not the doctor’s. Read about how Dr. Radford refused to accept the carrier’s decision.
