Abstract/Notes Between October 1952 and February 1957 Jeanna Rhea Lensgraf, the wife of Palmer student David Daniel Lensgraf, sent fifty-three cards and letters home to her parents in Tennessee. Little has been written of the history of our profession concerning student life from the perspective of the spouse. These poignant letters reflect loneliness, fears, and joys, while also revealing the day-to-day life of the average student at "the dear old PSC."
