Abstract/Notes

A fit young man was injured at work and subsequently developed left chest pain which radiated to his left medial epicondyle. The pain, which was aggravated by activity and relieved by rest, persisted for months without improvement. A two week course with diflunisal twice a day with food, daily fluori-methane spray and stretch directed at his left pectoralis major and home exercise rendered him virtually sympton-free within two weeks.
