For 43 years John B. Wolfe worked to raise the standards of chiropractic academic excellence and educational administration, taking a back seat to prominence and recognition, and yet always striving for advancement of his chosen profession.  His abilities and leadership in elevating chiropractic educational standards has influenced many others, and has resulted in his being chosen for the 1986 Lee-Homewood Award of the AHC.
