Abstract/Notes Chiropractors and their professional organizations have a number of difficult choices to make in the changing market for health care services. Different promotional strategies bear different risks, depending on (a) consumer attitudes about chiropractic and other varieties of health care, such as "medical care"; (b) future price trends for chiropractic and medical services; and (c) how budgeting for health care services changes, especially in the evolving managed care environment.
