This paper represents a first-person recollection of the author's coverage of the famous antitrust trial in Wilk, et. al., v. A.M.A, et al. The author reported on the trial first for the publication American Medical News, and later for the Chicago Sun-Times.  He continued to follow the case through its retrial and many appeals, and has recently published the above-referenced book.
