  Title Palmer school & infirmary of chiropractic Pasadena: The 1902 reunion, an odd storey and an unknown student

D.D. Palmer's first venture to southern California remains largely undocumented.  The Palmers published a rather odd story about a senior Palmer travelling there in the early summer of 1902, but it was presented as a spontaneous decision by Palmer to search for a mentally ill friend.  Chiropractic historian Merwyn Zarbuck was one of the first to suggest that D.D. Palmer practiced in Pasadena in the summer of 1902 and potentially operated a school as well.  This paper provides supporting evidence that D.D. Palmer was planning to relocate to California as well as expanding on his activities in Pasadena.  Additionally, a newly identified chiropractor who was most likely a studetn of D.D. Palmer's is revealed.
