Publication Type Case Report

Objective: To report on the positive health outcomes following chiropractic in the case of a 4-year-old male suffering from eczema, allergies and insomnia.

Clinical Features: A 4-year-old male presented to a chiropractic center suffering from eczema, allergies and insomnia. The eczema displayed as a full body rash that lasted for a year and a half. The patient used topical steroid cream and Hydroxyzine to try to alleviate the symptoms. Chiropractic examination revealed vertebral subluxation and neurological testing using surface electromyography and thermal scanning demonstrated dysautonomia and dysponesis.

Intervention and Outcomes: Network Spinal Analysis protocol was used to address vertebral subluxation. After two months the patient’s mother reported a decrease in eczema symptoms and severity. It was also reported that the child was happier, more engaged in playing and sleeping better.

Conclusion:  The child in this study experienced improved health outcomes following Network Spinal Analysis care. Further research is necessary to explore the role of chiropractic in such cases.
