Abstract/Notes

In the field of sport, be it individual, team, professional or amateur, winning is the ultimate goal.  The motivation for a win can be for national pride, gold medals, other prizes, or financial incentive.  Participants seek ways they feel will optimize their chances to achieve this.  Given that chiropractic care is one of those options, which has been quite broadly adopted in many sports, it is a fair observation to conclude that the chiropractic model contributes toward that winning edge.  The acknowledgement by eminent sporting personalities who have become chiropractic patients would imply recognition of that association.
