Abstract/Notes

Postural changes can introduce significant errors in pelvic spinography x-ray analysis. The most significant errors arise when projected points located at different distances from the film are compared. In order to eliminate this error source, patients must be carefully positioned to remove pelvic rotation. Other errors can also arise, but they are less significant.
