Excerpt: The Thirty-Sixth Annual Conference of the Association for the History of Chiropractic took place at Northwestern
Health Sciences University on 4 June 2016 to commemorate Northwestern’s 75th anniversary. The college was founded 2 June
1941, by John B. Wolfe, DC, FICC as the Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He started the college in downtown Minneapolis.
In 1950, Northwestern moved to a Minneapolis campus that had been the mansion and stables of a Minneapolis grain dealer. In 1974, the college moved to a campus in St. Paul and finally in 1983 to its present location in Bloomington, Minnesota.
