This paper tells the story of the life of Frederick D. Boyle, a World War II veteran from Fort Madison, Iowa, who attended the Palmer School of Chiropractic.

From the battlefields of Europe to the bands of the Mississippi River, Frederick Boyle would be known known for his work ethic and willingness to help others.  Over the course of his life he would become a significant contributor to both his profession and to the town of Keosauqua, Iowa, where he served as mayor for three years.
