Prof. Edzard Ernst has published many articles on complementary medicine, including chiropractic. We have previously criticized his writing as significantly biased and flawed scientifically.

This article briefly summarizes some of these criticisms and critically assesses one recent article, self-identified as a systematic review—“Deaths after Chiropractic: A Review of Published Cases.” The latter provides further evidence of the misuse of references and substandard quality of work.
