Abstract/Notes This author contends that the seminal event in the education of the American people as to the core value of the chiropractic profession occurred when the chiropractors of Alabama decided to seek professional guidance in their quest for cultural acceptance. The man they chose for their task had such vision and talent that his concepts of public relations in place of advertisement influenced future decisions by various national chiropractic organizations.
