Abstract/Notes Because of the nuclear emergency in Japan, people around the world are concerned about possible increased radiation levels from the jet stream. This article will attempt to answer some of the questions about risk. It also will lay out requirements for staff protection in clinics that use x-rays and other radiation-producing diagnostic equipment.
