Abstract/Notes Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the term used to describe children and adults who are inattentive, impulsive, and hyperactive. The cause is uncertain and is thought to be multifactorial. This paper will attempt to provide a broad review of the available literature on nutritional and environmental aspects of the epidemiology, etiology, prevention, and treatment of ADHD.
