Abstract/Notes Because more than 500,000 Americans attempt suicide each year, doctors of chiropractic have a good chance of meeting a patient or two with suicidal tendencies. How can these tendencies be recognized, and what should a DC do? Learn the fundamentals in this article that quotes one specialist as saying that most people who die by suicide do not want to die. They just want to stop their physical and/or emotional pain.
