Abstract/Notes Found in all 50 states, Lyme disease is a poorly understood condition that often brings patients with complaints of muscle aches and pains to chiropractic clinics. About 20,000 new cases of Lyme disease are reported every year, making this possibly crippling affliction the most common vector-borne infection in the United States.
