Abstract/Notes The article discusses the best tape measure methods for assessing leg-length inequality. Dr. Cooperstein wonders why most authorities recommend the medial malleolus over the lateral malleolus method, given the results of Woerman’s seminal study. Woerman’s data presentation and discussion are confusing, he says, but that 1984 study still has merit.
